For 10 weeks Midway Atoll will be my home. My adventure with albatross will begin on the 5th of June. This site should provide an amusing commentary of my time working with albatross, tropic birds, and the botany of Midway. As the title implies, I will be amidst the albatross. Humanity can claim the dirt on the island, however the soul of the island lies with its original inhabitants. The other people on the island and I are merely transient visitors amidst the sand, water, and albatross.
